Project HOPE Meeting for Sandy Survivors

Weekly education and recovery meetings will be held Thursdays at the Copiague Library.

Project HOPE has coordinated weekly education and recovery meetings at the Copiague Memorial Public Library to help Hurricane Sandy victims.

The free meetings held at the library on Thursday evenings, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., according to information posted on the Babylon Town website.

There Sandy survivors are provided with information and "a caring environment to connect with other community members," Project HOPE said.

Project HOPE provides "free confidential services to the community as it recovers" from Sandy.

"Trained counselors can speak confidentially with you about your concerns, work with you to determine how best to meet your needs, offer options and provide linkages to resources that can assist with the many facets of recovery," explained Project HOPE.
