Regal Opening Select Theaters In NY Including 1 On Long Island
A year after closing down, the company announced it was reopening some locations across New York this week.

DEER PARK, NY β A year after shutting down due to the coronavirus, Regal Theatre announced it will be opening several theaters across New York, including one on Long Island, this week.
Five theaters will open this Friday in time to show the new movie Godzilla vs. Kong.
In addition, the theaters will be airing new movies in the upcoming weeks such as The Unholy, Tom & Jerry, Mortal Kombat, A Quiet Place Part II and Top Gun: Maverick.

On Long Island, the Deer Park Regal located in the Tanger Outlets on the Arches Circle.
The company will also be re-opening facilities in Brooklyn, New York City, Long Island City and New Rochelle.

The chain will be following COVID-19 protocols including requiring employees will undergo daily health screenings, mask mandates, reducing capacity to 50 percent, leaving two seats in between groups, and additional hand sanitizer stations.
Regal has other Long Island locations in Ronkonkoma, Farmingdale, Lynbrook, East Hampton, Hampton Bays, Southampton, and Westbury, which will remain closed for the time being.
Earlier this month, AMC opened all its Long Island theaters.
