  • If you have the ability to take the dogs with you than we always suggest you do so dogs even friendly dogs can get very stressed during showings and not act themselves!
  • Cat’s are usually the easiest typically they hide from strangers but warn your Realtor if they are also escape artists so they know to watch out!

But What If you have so many pets that taking them out is not an option ?

A green light from your pets allowing your Realtor to leash them or simply stand near their cage without them growling/barking can go a long way for those showings. You must make sure you have a Pet friendly Realtor with experience to make sure your pet will be in good hands with someone who knows when pets are too stressed and can read each situation!
