DEER PARK, NY — A pedestrian was hit by a car in Deer Park Monday afternoon. The 911 call came in at 2:53 p.m. reporting a person hit by a car on Deer Park Avenue at Grand Boulevard.

The road was closed in both directions as of 3:09 p.m. No further information was immediately available.
