TD Bank Eyes Vacant Deer Park Parcel

Company has until August 27 to file building permit with Babylon Town.

The vacant parcel of land on Deer Park Ave. just south of the Deer Park/Dix Hills border may one day be a TD Bank.

According to a Babylon Town spokesperson, the bank has experienced construction delays since numerous local contractors have been involved in projects related to Hurricane Sandy reconstruction.

TD Bank has until August 27 to submit its application for an official building permit, after which the company would begin construction, the spokesperson said.
