Two North Babylon Graduates Sign With College Sports Teams
A standout wrestler and baseball player were congratulated by the district for continuing their sports careers on the collegiate level.

NORTH BABYLON, NY βTwo graduating high school seniors from North Babylon were congratulated this week for signing with college sports teams.
Jayshon Hines will attend Northwest Kansas Tech, where he will join the wrestling team this fall. Colin Rhein signed with Stony Brook University for baseball.
Hines wrestled on North Babylon's varsity team for four years. He was named All-League three times, All-County twice and once All-State. Last year he made it to the New York State championship, garnering a third-place win. He plans to study to become an electrician at Northwest Kansas Tech.

Rhein is an All-League and All-County baseball player and was named one of Newsdayβs Top 100 Baseball Players. This season he pitched a complete game and broke a school record of 17 strikeouts.
