Uncle Giuseppe's Coming To Sunset Plaza

NORTH BABYLON, NY — Uncle Giuseppe's will be opening up at the former King Kullen in North Babylon. According to a listing on the Ripco Real Estate website, the supermarket chain will be joining Buffalo Wild Wings, Game Stop, LA Fitness, Starbucks, Petsmart and more at the Sunset Plaza on 112 Deer Park Ave.

While an exact opening date has not yet been announced, the listing states that the business will be "coming soon," along with Philly Pretzel Factory. This is the seventh Long Island supermarket for the chain, which has locations in East Meadow, Massapequa, Melville, Port Jefferson Station, Port Washington and Smithtown.

In 2019, Stop & Shop announced that it was acquiring all King Kullen supermarkets across Long Island. Stop & Shop will take over King Kullen's 32 supermarkets, five Wild by Nature stores and the company's corporate office in Bethpage.
