WATCH: Deer Park Marine Pays Surprise Visit To Younger Brother

After spending the past year away, Daniel Busa surprised his brother at Deer Park High School, leading to a heartwarming reunion.

DEER PARK, NY β€” It was a heartwarming reunion over at Deer Park High School after a local U.S. Marine recently paid a surprise visit to his younger brother.

After graduating from high school in 2020, Daniel Busa spent the past year away serving as a Marine. But on April 7, he made his return to surprise his brother, sophomore Dominic Busa.

Dominic was sitting in teacher Joe Mucci’s art class and was told to go to see the principal when he ran into Daniel walking into the room, much to his surprise.

"I told Dominic that he was in trouble and had to step outside the class, but nothing could have been further from the truth," Associate Principal Craig Evans said. "It was a heartwarming event to witness. With all of the negative in the world going on with the pandemic, it was nice to see these brothers reunite."
