23-Year-Old Man Shot Dead In East Flatbush: NYPD

Police responded at around 5 p.m. Friday.

EAST FLATBUSH, NY — A 23-year-old man was shot dead around 5 p.m. Friday, police said.

Officers responded to person being assaulted in front of 708 E. 94th St. between Ditmas Ave. and Ave. B in the 67th Precinct, according to police.

Upon investigation, the man, 23, appeared to be shot in the torso and arm. Police said he was transported to Brookdale Hospital and pronounced dead.

There have been no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.

Release of the man's identity is pending family notification, according to police.
