EAST FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — A 33-year-old woman who was shot dead in a Brooklyn apartment on Thursday might have been killed by a man who either jumped or fell from the building's window after her death, according to police and reports.
Cops found Yahhira Nesby in her Rockaway Parkway apartment, on the Brownsville-East Flatbush border, with gunshot wounds to the chest and legs just before 4:30 p.m., police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers later found a 39-year-old man in the back of the building with a leg injury that looked like he had fallen from an "elevated position" and took him into custody for questioning, police said.
