$850 Apartments Hit Brooklyn Housing Lottery

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — A small batch of affordable apartments in building across Brooklyn will hit the housing lottery on Friday.

Sixteen renovated apartments — four of which cost just $850 monthly — in Prospect Heights, Clinton Hill, Flatbush, Williamsburg and Bushwick will be available on the NYC Housing Connect website from June 1 until June 22.

Four studio apartments that cost $850-per-month will be available to people earning between $29,143 and $43,860 a year.

Four one-bedroom apartments that cost $913-per-month are available to households with an annual income between $31,303 and $50,100.

Six two-bedroom apartments that cost $1,105-per-month are available to households with an annual income between $37,886 and $62,580.

And two four-bedroom apartments that cost $1,427-per-month are available to households with an annual income between 48,926 and $82,620.

The apartments are located at 802 and 804 Washington Ave. in Prospect Heights, 165 Park Ave. and 368 Lafayette Ave. in Clinton Hill, 83 East 18th St. and 72/74 Lott St. in Flatbush, 825 Bedford Ave. in Williamsburg and 890 Flushing Ave. in Bushwick.
