'Affordable' Flatbush Apartment Demand $75K Income
Six Flatbush apartments set to hit the affordable housing lotto next week require applicants earn between $75,000 and $108,000 a year.

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN -- All it takes to apply for this affordable Flatbush housing is a $75,000-a-year income.
Six one-bedroom apartments at 1643 and 1645 New York Ave., set to hit the housing lotto Monday, will only be available to households with an annual income between $75,806 and $108,550, city records show.
The apartments will go for $2,211-per-month and are available to people earning up to $95,030 or couples earning up to $108,550, according to the NYC Housing Connect website.

Amenities include a roof terrace and in-unit washer and dryer, according to the city listing.
Owner Jacob Leifer of 1645 New York Avenue LLC filed permits to build the four-story, two-building development in March 2018, Department of Buildings records show.

The LLC purchased 1645 New York Ave. from the estate of its former owner for $1.1 million in November, 2017, city records show.
Two single-family homes were demolished to build the apartment complex, New York YIMBY reported last March.
Qualifying New Yorkers have until March 25 to apply.
