'Affordable' Flatbush Apartments Require $75K Income
New "affordable" Flatbush one-bedrooms at 1610 and 1612 New York Ave. cost $2,188 a month, records show.

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — A half dozen new "affordable" Flatbush one-bedroom apartments are available only to those earning at least $75,018 a year, city records show.
Six apartments and 1610 and 1612 New York Ave., between Glenwood Road and Avenue H, hit the NYC Housing Connect lottery Thursday and only households earning 130 percent of the area median income can apply.
The $2,188-a-month apartments are up for grabs for a single person earning between $75,018 and $97,10, a pair earning between $75,018 and $111,020, or three people bringing in between $75,018 and $124,950 a year, the listings show.
