'Affordable' Flatbush Avenue Studios Costs $1,650 A Month

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN -- A batch of "affordable" Flatbush apartments hitting the housing market next week include $1,650-a-month studios and two-bedrooms with six-figure income requirements.

Nine apartments at 1127 Flatbush Ave. will go on the market Monday but are only available to those who meet specific income requirements, NYC Housing Connect records show.

Individuals hoping to apply for two available studios must earn between $56,572 and $95,030 every year to apply.

Two one-bedrooms will cost $1,750-a-month and are only available to households bringing in between $60,000 and $108,550 a year.

And five two-bedroom apartments that cost $1,950-a-month are available to those earning between $66,858 and $135,590 annually.

Building amenities include the services of an on-site super, recreation space, courtyard, roof deck, elevator, storage units, laundry room and bike storage.

The building, which stands on the corner of Flatbush Avenue and Clarendon Road, is about a half mile walk from the Cortelyou Road Q train station and the Beverly Road 2 and 5 train station.
