Blaze Ravages E. 21st Street Apartment Complex

The blaze ignited around 9 a.m. Saturday, and required 70 firefighters to extinguish.

A fire broke out on the fourth floor of a Ditmas Park apartment complex Saturday around 9 a.m., requiring 14 units and 70 firefighters to fully knock out 35 minutes later.

The blaze, which resulted in no injuries, took hold of a building on E. 21st and Ditmas Avenue at 8:57 a.m., and was extinguished at 9:35 a.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
