What's going on this week in Ditmas Park.

Good morning Ditmas Park! It's supposed to be another not-too-hot day with a high of 81 degrees and some clouds. 

Alternate side parking rules are in effect today through Wednesday. The next suspension is Thursday, August 15 for Feast of the Assumption. Friday you're back at the wheel. 

Here's what's happening this week:


Monday

- Today begins the second week of The NYC Makery Pop-up Makerspace at Brooklyn Brainery in Prospect Heights, "where communities can gather to play with the creative power of digital design and fabrication, physical computing, and computer programming."


Tuesday

- There's a Photo Workshop for Parents led by the very talented Antonio M. Rosario. On the up side, it's free. Make sure to reserve a slot. Details at the link. Milk and Honey Cafe, 10 a.m.

-Alden LaPaglia will lead kids ages 3-9 in a "grooving surfin safari" at 2:30 p.m. at the Cortelyou Library. 

- Jono Manson plays at Bar Chord at 9 p.m.


Wednesday

- No sure whom to vote for? There's a Brooklyn District Attorney Candidates' Forum at 7 p.m.

- There's also an Arts in Dialogue Photography Workshop tonight from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Free but you must register in advance (details at link). 


Thursday

Melody Allegra plays at Bar Chord at 9 p.m.
