Ok, I know Ditmas Park Patch does a lot of "Of The Day" posts, but in this case the title is a joke.
However, with 16 varieties of crepes (and nothing else) on the menu at Foster Avenue's newest restaurant, a weekly crepe review column could last through Chanukah.Â
I will tell you that I tried the ratatouille crepe today, and it was excellent, with a nice tang in the pancake, and a fresh feta crumbled on top that perfectly set off the sauteed eggplant mix inside.
While we were here, Konstantino, the owner read our take on the place, agreed that he isn't the most customer-is-always-right type of guy. He enthusiastically related a new example: a customer tried to order the Crepe Champignons, but he refused to serve it because he was out of wine, despite her assurance that she would be fine having it wine free.Â
He did note that he intends to add salade Nicoise to the menu. We'll keep you posted.Â
