Flatbush Man Found Dead On Long Island Roadside: Cops
Terrance L. Mitchell was found with a gunshot wound to his head in Wyandanch, N.Y. on Thursday morning, police said.
FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — A man from Flatbush was found dead with a gunshot wound to his head on a roadside in Long Island on Thursday morning, local police said.
Terrance L. Mitchell, 40, was found by a sanitation worker on a garbage truck on the side of Spruce Street, south of Jefferson Avenue, in Wyandanch, N.Y. at 7:15 a.m. Homicide Squad detectives said Mitchell was shot in the head and that it was possible he was killed somewhere else before being taken to the side of the road and left there.
Mitchell was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
