Flatbush Mom Arrested After Cops Find Son Biking Alone At Night

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — A Flatbush mom was arrested after police found her 5-year-old son riding his bike alone on a dark Brooklyn Street almost a mile away from his home.

Nichol Spencer, 45, faces criminal charges after police found her little boy alone on East 55th Street and Linden Boulevard about 10:30 p.m. Saturday night, according to the NYPD.

The boy wasn't able to tell cops where he lived, so he was taken to an area police station and his photo was released to the press Sunday afternoon, police said.

Spencer arrived at the 67th Precinct hours later and was charged with acting in a manner injurious to a child, said police.

The Flatbush mom said she thought her son was with his dad, according a New York Post report.
