Flatbush Open House Will Introduce You to a Charter School Coming to Lefferts Gardens
IAFF aims to open by August 2018.
EAST FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — The office of Flatbush State Senator Kevin Parker will host an open house on Saturday, Dec. 17 for those interested in a new charter school coming to the Prospect-Lefferts Gardens.
IFAA Charter School aims to open by August 2018, and would teach students in school districts 17 and 18, according to the school's website. The school aims to open at 495 Flatbush Ave. in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens. When it opens, the school will teach K-2nd grade, and aims to be a K-12 school by 2030.
The open house will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 3021 Tilden Ave., on the first floor.
