Flatbush 'Unity Night' Will Focus on Immigrants' Rights and Mental Health
The event will take place at P.S. 217 and will be translated into numerous languages.

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — Flatbush's P.S. 217 Colonel David Marcus School will host a "Unity Night" on Dec. 21 with an emphasis on the mental health and legal rights of immigrant communities.
The event will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the school, located at 1100 Newkirk Ave.
According to organizers, the evening is an effort to "protect and unite our diverse community." It will feature "know Your Rights" immigration workshops, as well as presentations on "mental welfare in stressful times."

Translators will also be on hand speaking Bengali, Urdu, Spanish, Russian, Arabic and Nepali, according to organizers.
