found cat

FOUND CAT - a very sweet young cat - part white and part orange stripes. cat has been living in a large garage on dorchester off ocean ave for at least 1 week. he/she is dirty, hungry and scared but obviously a pet who is lost or has been abandoned.

i saw him/her run through the garage last weekend. didn't get a close look. then this morning as i was leaving for work i heard a cat crying. when i returned tonight i heard the - very loud and very distraught - crying again and easily found the cat curled up in a soft spot a few spaces down from mine. he/she talked to me and seemed very scared and unhappy but very obviously wanted my help.

i went home and brought back food and water for the cat and he/she was clearly very hungry and thirsty. i should have taken a photo before feeding but forgot and then couldn't get a good picture.

i will check on him/her again tomorrow with more food and try to get a good picture. i am sure this cat is a pet and i would really love to find his/her owners and get this poor scared little guy home.
