Four Projects Win Participatory Budget Vote, Fifth Possible
Security cameras, community resource center top list of area projects that will move forward.
The winners of the participatory budget vote are in and four proposals have gotten the green light, as well as a possible fifth.
According to the office of 45th District City , the winners are:
- Security Cameras, 819 Votes
- Community Resource Center, 806 Votes
- Park Lighting, 747 Votes
- E-Tech Campus, 436 Votes
These projects will total approximately $1.05 million.

If funds allow, Williams has also agreed to fund the field lights at Tilden Educational Campus Field, for another $300,000.
