From Hot Picked Okra to Shrimp and Grits: Southern Comfort Coming to Church Ave.

The Dogwood's menu goes heavy on tradition, but adds just the right of innovation on the side.

The Dogwood, the Southern Restaurant/Bar opening on Church Avenue next week has settled upon a menu, and the theme is Southern comfort.

That said, the standards are often accompanied by a condiment with a twist, such as the hot pickled okra for the cornbread toasts, and lemon verbena aioli along with the fish sticks.
