DITMAS PARK, BROOKLYN — You can live in the house where Fry — the cartoon star of “Futurama” — grew up.
The three-story house at 516 Rugby Road, which inspired the animation of Philip J. Fry’s childhood home, has hit the market, according to Realtor.com.
The cartoon version of the house — which belonged to the father of “Futurama” writer Eric Kaplan — can be seen in episode called “Luck of the Fryrish,” which aired in 2001.

The buyer who snags the property will claim bragging rights not only to the house’s cartoon celebrity, but also features such as a wrap-around porch, stained glass bay windows, and a one-car garage, Brownstoner reports.
The owner is asking $2,195,000 for the house, which stands near Ditmas Avenue and is about a five-minute walk from the Newkirk Plaza subway station.
