I've never noticed before that there is a massive homing pigeon coop behind the tiny tailor shop between Coney Island Avenue and E. 8th St.
Man it is huge!
According to Heather Smith, who lives a few blocks away, the coop first appeared about six months or a year ago. At first it was just the yellow part but the extension was added recently.
While she didn't appear to be enthralled with it, as I am, she finds it benign.
"There hasn't been a smell or anything," she said. "And there are a lot of them in the city."
