'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit' to Film in Ditmas Park Friday

'Law & Order' is coming to Ditmas Park on Friday, but you may want to move your car sooner than that.

The NBC program "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" will be filming throughout the day in a number of locations in the neighborhood from 8 a.m. until 11:30 p.m. Friday.

But you should get a jump on finding an alternative spot for your car because parking will be held from 8 a.m. Thursday to 12:30 a.m. Saturday on the following blocks:

• Both sides of Beverley Rd. between Ocean Pkwy. and Coney Island Ave.
• Both sides of Beverley Rd. between Coney Island Pkwy and Stratford Rd.
• East side of E. 8th St. between Hinckley Pl. and Beverley Rd.
• Both sides E. 9th St. on one half of the block between Beverley Rd. and Avenue C.
• Both sides of Argyle Rd. on one half of the block between Beverley Rd. and Cortelyou Rd.

A towing unit will be in the area beginning at 10 p.m. Thursday night to remove any remaining vehicles.
