Flatbush Father Fatally Shot In Head In Drive-By, Officials Say
James Dorce, 33, was shot dead on East 28th Street Thursday evening, according to city officials.
FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — A Brooklyn father of three was fatally shot in the head in Flatbush Thursday night, officials said.
James Dorce, 33, was gunned down by a drive-by shooter on East 28th Street between Cortelyou and Clarendon roads about 8:50 p.m., said police and a local representative.
Someone rushed Dorce to Kings County Hospital before medics arrived, but doctors were unable to save his life.

City Council member Farah Louis issued a statement Friday mourning the loss of the Brooklyn dad and calling for stronger gun control.
"His father and siblings were left devastated at the hospital," Louis said. "One gun, one dispute has turned the American Dream into a nightmare."
