New School Coming To Flatbush, City Records Show
A Brooklyn developer has filed permits to build a five-story school on Nostrand Avenue and Avenue D, Department of Buildings records show.

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — Developers plan to build a new school on Nostrand Avenue in Flatbush, city records show.
Developers filed permits Monday to build a five-story school at 1829 Nostrand Ave. near Avenue D, according to Department of Buildings records.
The building is owned by David Bawabeh of Bawabeh Realty, a development firm based in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens, city records show.

Bawabeh Realty was behind the development of The Co-op School’s Bed-Stuy location at 644 Gates Ave. and is currently working on another school at the site of a Bed-Stuy Goodwill that was demolished in 2015.
Four stories will be added to the one-story commercial building which was once a Duane Reade, New York Yimby reported.
