The space became available last summer when Kings County Wines closed up shop and moved into its current location — the former home of Brooklyn Industries — on Cortelyou and Marlborough roads.
Lesser and business partner Adam Robertson bought the wine store — which was formerly named T.B. Ackerson Wine Merchants — from Jane Rennert in 2015, after attempts to secure a liquor license for 1414 Cortelyou Road failed, Bklyner reported at the time.

Should Lesser's and Richey's plans gain approval from local officials, it will join a slew of local watering holes on the Cortelyou Road strip that include Sycamore, Manchego, The Castello Plan, Bar Chord and Highbury Pub.
Patch was not immediately able to reach Lesser or Richey for comment.
