Report: Tickets For Illegal Trash Dumping Drops
New York City reports it gave 78 percent fewer tickets than last year.

The Ditmas Park Corner reported that New York City gave out 78 percent fewer tickets in the fiscal year ending this past June when compared to 2012 and city agencies are attributing the drop to a variety of reasons.
While it gave out fewer citations, it's not clear if actual illegal dumping has gone down. The Ditmas Corner asks reader, what’s the best way to handle dumping on our streets?
