Stratford Road Fire Leaves 1 Injured
Firefighter treated for minor injuries following an early-morning blaze between Church and Caton.
A fire at a Prospect Park South home left one firefighter with injures and a family's home badly damaged.
Firefighters were called to 46 Stratford Road at 5:11 a.m. to find flames spreading through the brick rowhouse's second floor, where the fire appears to have started, an FDNY spokesman said.
About sixty firefighters fought the blaze, bringing it under control about 30 minutes later, at 5:44 a.m. The firefighter received minor injuries, the spokesman said.
The FDNY is still investigating the cause of the fire.Â
