Two Suspects, Car Tied to Christmas Flatbush Murder of Ramie Nesbeth
Ramie Nesbeth was shot outside an East Flatbush deli on Dec. 25. Two suspects have now been identified.

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — Police have released information on two suspects and a vehicle allegedly connected to the Dec. 25 East Flatbush murder of Canarsie dad Ramie Nesbeth.
Shortly before 1 p.m. on Christmas day, Nesbeth, 30, was fatally shot in the abdomen outside 1083 Utica Ave., according to the NYPD. He was pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital.
On Thursday, the NYPD announced they were looking for two suspects and a vehicle recorded escaping from the scene of the shooting.

The first suspect, whom police have identified as the shooter, is a black male in his mid-20's with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a dark knit hat and dark clothing.
The second individual is a black male, also in his 20's, who was last seen wearing a knit hat and driving a light-colored Nissan. The car and one of the suspects can be seen in the below video released by police allegedly showing the suspects escaping from the crime scene:

A GoFundMe page still active in support of Nesbeth's family had raised $230 as of Jan. 5.
"Ramie is known for his bear hugs and telling those he loved that he loved them every time he saw them," the page read. "He leaves behind a 6 year old princess that embodies the love Ramie had for her. This tragedy has taught the family not to take each other for granted and also reminded us to cherish all the moment[s] and memories we share. His contagious laugh and joy in the little things in life will be greatly missed. In efforts to ensure a proper burial for our recently departed we will accept any donations you may have. Thanks in advance."
