Weekend Rails: Q train extended to Ditmars Blvd

After heavy Sandy-induced delays, the subway is back up and fully running—and so is scheduled track work. Here's the breakdown of this weekend's transit trouble spots:

• There will be no F trains between Jay St.-MetroTech and 18 Ave. Free shuttle buses provide alternate service.
• There will be no G trains between Hoyt-Schermerhorn and Church Ave. Free shuttle buses provide alternate service.
• Q train service is extended to Ditmars Blvd.
• There will be no R trains between 34th St.-Herald Square and Jay Street-MetroTech.
• Brooklyn-bound A trains will run via the F from W. 4th St. to Jay St.-MetroTech.
• D trains run local in both directions between DeKalb Ave. and 36th St.
