Who Needs Touch-a-Truck, When You've Got E. 16th St.?

Calling all parents, especially of the under-5 set. There's a fantastic live show going on at E. 16th St. between Ditmas and Dorchester while the sewer line is repaired.

This afternoon, an excavator is pulling out enormous sheets of metal a gaping hole in the street .

So, while the sewer work is a pain for us drivers, as well as those living on the street, it's a great opportunity for anyone with a bouncing-off-the-wall toddler at home.

If you can't get over there, watch for our video, which is sure to be a favorite of any Bob the Builder fan

On the more logistical note, workers again today confirmed that they will be done by the end of Friday (or at least open the street for the weekend). Next they're moving over to E. 18th St.
