5 Things To Do in Downtown Manhattan This Weekend
The holiday week is over, but there are plenty of things to do downtown this weekend.
No fireworks, but one weekend removed from the Fourth of July, there's still plenty of things to do in the city.
We take a look at five things to do in Downtown Manhattan.
- Bull and Beer Garden — The folks at Andaz Wall Street (75 Wall St.) open up their plaza to host outposts selling beer and food on Friday at 4 p.m. You can also play cornhole and giant Jenga. The fun is free, the drinks are not.
- Legend: A Tribute to Bob Marley — Cafe Wha? (115 Macdougal St.) will pay homage to the greatest reggae voice of all-time on Friday night at 6:3o p.m. Cafe Wha?'s cover band is among the best in the city. The show is just $15.
- 4Knots Music Festival — South Street Seaport's Pier 16 hosts the annual 4Knots Music Festival in conjunction with The Village Voice for the sixth time on Saturday starting at 1 p.m. Guided by Voices, The Strumbellas, Protomartyr, Car Seat Headrest, Mothers and Girlpool are among the acts scheduled to perform. Oh, and did we mention it's all free?
- Cristin Milioti — You may know her as the eponymous mother in "How I Met Your Mother," but she's also a pretty good singer. She won a Grammy for her role in the Broadway play "Once" so she's got the chops. She's performing at Joe's Pub at the Public Theater from Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. each night. Ticket price is $30.
- Euro Cup Final at Watermark Bar and Lounge — Watermark Bar & Lounge has been playing host to Euro 2016 throughout the tournament, but it wraps up on Sunday at 3 p.m. Head to Pier 15 for an extra special blowout, including special deals and prizes. Plus, it's pretty cool to watch a great soccer match with the Brooklyn Bridge in the background.
