Asphalt Green’s 2017 Summer Day Camp to Start on June 29 - Registration Open Now

New York City sports and fitness nonprofit organizationAsphalt Green will offer its 2017 Summer DayCamp, starting on June 29, at its Upper East Side and Battery Park City campuses. For 29 years, Asphalt Green has offered a classic camp experience in the heart of Manhattan, featuring a wide range of physically, mentally and socially enriching activities; experienced and professional staff; low counselor-to-camper ratio; and first-class facilities.

Campers will participate in a variety of activities each day on Asphalt Green’s 5.5 acre enclosed campus (Upper East Side), or our 52,000 square-foot facility with adjacent field (Battery Park City). Swimming is a daily activity, with campers enjoying both instructional and recreational swim times in a 50-meter (UES) or 25-yard (BPC) pools.

Asphalt Green’s expert coaches will lead a variety of sports activities, including basketball, tennis, soccer, baseball, and martial arts. Arts & crafts round out the daily curriculum, including gardening, circus arts, dance, science, theater, art, gaga and yoga. Campers will also have the opportunity go on multiple field trips throughout the summer, and participate in many on-campus special events including color war, talent shows and more.

Tuition covers all activities, field trips, daily lunch and snacks. Pre-camp service (7:30 AM – 8:30 AM) and after-camp service (4:30 PM – 6:30 PM) is available for an additional fee. Bus service to and from camp is also available for an additional fee.

AGES: Pee Wee – 4 ½ to 6 years; Junior – 6 to 8 years; Senior – 8 to 13 years; Counselor in Training – 14 to 15 years
