World Trade Center Oculus Evacuated After Fire
At least part of the building was evacuated on Thursday morning while firefighters investigated, authorities said.

FINANCIAL DISTRICT, NY — A small fire broke out inside the Oculus World Trade Center on Thursday morning, causing at least part of the building to be evacuated, fire authorities said.
Firefighters began investigating a smoke condition in the building at about 8:30 a.m. An FDNY spokesman said firefighters were investigating an apparent electrical fire in the building. He could not say whether the entire building had been evacuated. The Port Authority said on Twitter that the small blaze was extinguished within about 30 minutes of firefighters arriving on scene, and that the building had reopened.
The electrical fire has been extinguished and the smoke condition is cleared at the WTC. PATH has resumed service on the WTC-Newark line, with delays. The Oculus has been reopened.
