Financial District Studios Available For $788/Month In Lottery

A new housing lottery is offering affordable units in a new Financial District high-rise.

FINANCIAL DISTRICT, NY — An affordable housing lottery is offering studios in the Financial District for $788 a month.

The residential building at 118 Fulton St. will include 97 new apartments available through the city's housing lottery, which offers apartments for less than the market rate for low and moderate-income residents.

There are 31 studios available for $788 a month, all reserved for people making between $28,903 and $40,080. The housing lottery also includes 56 one-bedrooms for $847 a month and 10 two-bedrooms for $1,025 a month.

The building, which is currently under construction, will be one of FiDi's next skyscrapers, and will stand 758-feet tall when it's completed.

Half of the affordable units are reserved for residents of the Financial District area, and a small portion of the affordable units are reserved for applicants with disabilities and municipal employees.
