Man Stalks 14-Year-Old Girl On The Subway, Police Say

NEW YORK — Cops are searching for a man who has been stalking a 14-year-old girl in recent weeks on the subway station, according to the NYPD.

The man, in his 40s, followed the girl from the Bowling Green subway station to the area of Trinity Place, trying to talk to her Sept. 25 between 7:30 and 9 a.m., police said.

Police said he tried to talk to her several times and gave her $20.

A day later about the same time, he followed the girl onto a southbound 4 train inside a Burnside Avenue subway station in The Bronx and stayed on the same subway car as her for three stops, police said.

The girl saw a group of friends at 170th Street and got off the subway, and the man ran off, according to police.

Police said the man has a medium build and is 5 feet 5 inches tall.

Surveillance images released by the NYPD from the first stalking show a man wearing all black clothing, a black hat and white sneakers.
