FINANCIAL DISTRICT, NY — A man wanted for questioning in connection with a rice cooker scare that led to the evacuation of the Fulton Street subway station Friday morning has been located, the NYPD said.

Two cookers were found in the Fulton Street subway station and a third was found beside garbage in Chelsea. All three devices were empty and did not pose a threat.

The devices were found at the Fulton Street Station around 7 a.m. and the third appliance was found in Chelsea around 8:10 a.m. It appeared to be put out with the garbage and "may or may not be related" to the other two, NYPD Chief of Transit Edward Delatorre said.

"It is possible that somebody put out a bunch of items in the trash today and this guy picked them up and then discarded them, or it's possible that this was an intentional act," Miller said at a news conference.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
