Midtown and Downtown Street Closures to Be Aware of This Weekend
FDR Drive under night-time construction, Pride street closures, and other roadblocks to be aware of

This weekend, Manhattan drivers and those looking to drive into the city should look out for the following street closures, according to the Department of Transportation:
Closures on FDR Drive:
-FDR Drive between 61st Street and 96th Street will be closed in both directions on Saturday from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday from 1:30 a.m. to 7 a.m., and Monday from 12:30 a.m. to 5 a.m. because of Rockefeller University construction.

-Northbound FDR Drive traffic will exit at the 61st Street exit ramp and you can use First Avenue and follow the detour signs to the 96th Street entrance to re-enter the FDR.
-Southbound FDR Drive traffic will exit at the 96th Street exit ramp. You can use Second Avenue and follow the detour signs to the 42nd Street temporary entrance ramp to re-enter the FDR Drive.

-The RFK Bridge off-ramp and the Third Avenue Bridge off-ramp onto the southbound FDR Drive will be closed during these times. If you're approaching from the Third Avenue Bridge, you can use Lexington Avenue and follow the detour signs to the 42nd Street temporary entrance ramp to re-enter the FDR Drive. The southbound entrance ramps at 125th Street, 116th Street, 92nd Street, 79th Street and 73rd Street will be closed and the FDR Drive northbound entrance ramps at 34th Street, 48th Street, and 62nd Street will be closed.
Saturday closure:
Lexington Avenue between 42nd Street and 54th Street in Manhattan will be closed from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday for the Turtle Bay Association Festival.
From 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sunday the following streets will be closed for Pride:
-5th Avenue between 41st Street and Washington Square Park
-8th Street between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue
-36th Street to 40th Street between 6th Avenue and Park Avenue
-41st Street between 5th Avenue and Park Avenue
-Greenwich Avenue between 6th Avenue and Christopher Street
-Christopher Street between Greenwich Avenue and Greenwich Street
-Greenwich Street between West 11th Street and Leroy Street
-Bleecker Street between Christopher Street and West 10th Street
-Hudson Street between Bethune Street and West 14th Street
-West 13th Street between 9th Avenue and West 4th Street
Other closure on Sunday:
-6th Avenue between 42nd Street and 56th Street in Manhattan will be closed from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the Workmen’s Circle & St. Patrick’s Cathedral Fair
