New York Cares Annual Coat Drive Ends Dec. 31

Donate a new or gently used coat to help keep a fellow New Yorker warm this winter.

NEW YORK, NY — Keep a fellow New Yorker warm this winter with the New York Cares annual coat drive. New Yorkers are asked to donate new or gently used coats for adults or children to the drive, which will go until Dec. 31.

New York Cares hopes to collect 125,000 coats this year to give to local nonprofits, religious institutions, transitional housing shelters and public schools. There are numerous drop-off sites throughout the city. Click here for a map of locations.

Thanks to generous New Yorkers, New York Cares has collected and distributed 1.7 million winter coats over the past 27 years.
