Is This NYC's Most Expensive Margarita?
For National Margarita Day, you can celebrate by dropping some serious cash on a single cocktail.

TRIEBCA, NY — A Tribeca restaurant is offering a jaw-dropping $55 margarita to celebration the drink's national holiday on Thursday.
Yep, you read that right: $55 for a single cocktail, according to statement from the restaurant. You can buy the drink at Añejo Tribeca, the Mexican restaurant and tequila bar located at 301 Church St.
What makes the drink so pricey? This drink is designed by the restaurant's resident mezcal sommelier Amanda Swanson with premium mezcal, Grand Marnier, lime juice and agave. The top-notch liquor used in this special margarita — Clase Azul Durango Mezcal — costs between $200 and $250 for a 750 ml bottle.
