Pace University Announces New President
Marvin Krislov will leave Oberlin College in Ohio to start as Pace University's new president in August.

FINANCIAL DISTRICT, NY — Marvin Krislov has been named the new president of Pace University, the school announced Tuesday morning. For more news from the Financial District and New York City, sign up to receive news alerts from Patch here.
Krislov will leave Oberlin College in Ohio, where he has served as president for 10 years, to start working at Pace in August.
"I am honored to be chosen to lead Pace University during this exciting period of growth and revitalization as the University advances its position as one of the nation’s foremost institutions in fostering the leaders of tomorrow," Krislov said in a statement released by the school. "Pace’s commitment to access and pathways to success for students inspires me."

Krislov succeeds Stephen Friedman, who announced his retirement in 2016 after 10 years as president. Pace announced last week that its lower Manhattan campus will be getting a $90 million revamp; construction will start in the summer.
