Man Struck By Train At Wall Street Snarls 2, 3 Service
The train's motorman saw the man jump in front of the train as it entered the station, police said.

FINANCIAL DISTRICT, NY — A 26-year-old man who was fatally struck by a train at the Wall Street station on the 2, 3 lines snarled subway service early Wednesday afternoon, according to police and the MTA.
Emergency responders rushed to the subway station at 12:45 p.m. and pulled the man out from under a train car. He was pronounced dead at the scene, a police spokesman said.
The train's motorman told authorities that he saw the man jump in front of the train as it entered the station.

Trains stopping at the Wall Street station were temporarily re-routed to stop along the 5 line from 149th Street-Grand Concourse to Nevins Street, according to the MTA.
Some southbound 2, 3 trains ended at Chambers Street, while some northbound trains discontinued at Atlantic Avenue-Barclay Center.
