Police Bust UPS Employee in Tribeca For Allegedly Swiping $8K in Apple Products
The man was arrested with a stolen iPhone and weed, police say.

TRIBECA, NY — Police arrested a man who is accused of swiping $8,000 worth of Apple products from a UPS storage facility in Tribeca.
Starting on Monday, Nov. 21 at 3 p.m., the man allegedly stole iPhones, MacBook Pros and cellphone holders from boxes at a UPS storage facility at West Broadway and Leonard St., police say. The man, who was an employee at the warehouse, then hawked the stolen property, according to the police report.
Two more times the same week — Tuesday, Nov. 22, and Wednesday, Nov. 23 — the man allegedly snatched more stuff. When he was arrested, police say, he was in possession of stolen iPhone and marijuana.
