Rally For Legal Marijuana Planned For City Hall Steps
Supporters want a law making pot smoking legal to be passed.
NEW YORK CITY – A rally calling on New York City to legalize marijuana is being held Thursday at City Hall.
The event will demand that electeds pass the Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act which would make pot smoking legal and raise millions of dollars in taxes, supporters say.
Among those attending Thursday's rally will be Public Advocate Jumaane Williams, Senator Liz Krueger and councilmember Brad Lander.
