The Hudson River is notorious for its sharp winds, strong currents and unexpected tidal flow — the type of conditions that should set up a must watch race.

Viewership of the racing spectacle is available along the Hudson River, but the Official Race Village and best spot to watch the boats is at Brookfield Place.

You can also choose to view it from the deck of your own boat, as SailGP has partnered with New York Cruise Lines and Classic Harbor Lines to give spectators the opportunity to get as close as possible to the speeding sailboats. Tickets are available here.
