See: Peregrine Falcon Lays 4 Eggs In Financial District Nest
A peregrine falcon laid at least four eggs at the famed nest in a Financial District skyscraper, the live web cam shows.

FINANCIAL DISTRICT, NY — Lower Manhattan's famed falcon has laid her first four eggs of the season, a live web camera shows.
The avian celebrities, Adele and Frank, live atop a Financial District skyscraper at 55 Water St., where they've gained a following from online bird-watchers from a live web cam nested on the 14th floor of the 54-story tower. Four eggs were observed from the live webcam as early as April 4 — with the falcons briefly revealing the eggs Monday morning.
Peregrine falcons — among the world's fastest birds that can possibly reach up to 200 miles per hour while hunting for prey — decreased drastically in the 1950s and 1960s after certain pesticides were introduced, according to the Department of Environmental Protection. Peregrine falcons have lived at their digs at 55 Water St. since 1999, when the first generation Jack and Diane nested there.
